WINE

  • Book a driver (our favorite is Cassian) and head to a few wineries for the day! Make sure to ship back your favorites, shipping to the US isn't as bad as you would think! You also can be risky and pack a few bottles in your suitcase - better believe we do both!
  • Rust en Vrede: they specialize in the best red wines!
  • Steenberg Wine Farm: close to the city which makes it a perfect spot for a quick tasting and meal!
  • Tokara: beautiful art installation in this modern tasting room. Stop by the shop for some decent olive oil to take back!
  • Haute Cabrière: amazing restaurant and tasting!
  • Delaire Graaf Estate: this winery is not just gorgeous but we dined at the restaurant and it’s incredible!
  • Zorgvliet: this tasting is memorable because it’s in the garden, and an air-conditioned lunch spot is also available.
  • Warwick Estate: award-winning wines on a farm that dates back to 1771
  • Simonsig: family-owned farm — try their whites!
  • Meerlust Estate: eighth-generation wines!
  • Dieu Donne Vineyards: built into the hillside with an epic view
  • Moreson Farms & Winery: pure relaxation and calm drinking wine at this beautiful farm
  • Boschendal Wine Estate: you can book a stay here or just come for some vino
  • Babylonstoren: one of the Cape’s oldest farms, book a class or enjoy wine and the gardens.
