This week we are taking a look at a few of our favorite navy paints! Painting your dining room or study navy not only adds richness to your space but it also acts as a neutral base so your existing furniture- artwork- and rugs can normally still find a home in your new space. However, would we like to see you add a new brass chandelier or antique mirror? Absolutely!
Tip: Before painting, fill holes with filler and sand smooth. When you are painting a dark or vivid color over a much lighter one be sure to use a grey primer.
Nomad Design Tip: For extra drama paint your ceiling, molding and doors the same color! Be sure to use a semi-gloss for the molding and doors (this will help with scuffs and dust!)
